Interactive-Graphical-Interfaces
Since many people have at least access to a computer, the
interactive graphical interface has now been developed to
make the online experience a lot more user friendly.
What is an Interactive Graphical Interface?
An
interactive graphical interface combines images and graphics
into a user-friendly browser, which is then linked to documents,
files, music and/or video clips enabling them to be called
up by clicking the button which denotes the relevant item.
To simplify, it means that when you put the CD in a screen
pops up that enables you have an experience similar to browsing
a website, rather than having to browse the CD for the relevant
file.
What are they used for?
These interfaces can be used for a variety of purposes, onscreen
visual aids for sales presentations, they can be used to create
individual interactive training packages, with tutorials and
tests to asses their learning throughout, or can be used with
a screen or projector as aids in group training. They can
also be distributed to clients on CD-ROMs, or simply used
as an interactive e-business card.
Why should I use them?
A great advantage of using interactive graphical interfaces
to create multimedia presentations, is that it enables your
company to transmit information using mixed media, to a wide
audience, whilst still maintaining your corporate identity
throughout their experience. Also, the interactivity helps
maintain the attention of the user, and the ability to add
interactive aspects such as tests at the end of tutorials
make them an excellent medium for training packages.
